Cat dander tends to be more elongated than human skin flakes but not so much as dog dander.
The particles are more like angular ellipsoids, elongated parallelograms, or elongated
pentagrams. The particles tend to show irrigular patterns of stress birefingence with
the birefingence being highest at one end of the particle.
