Airborne Chrysotile Asbestos, Field 1

This is a cleared membrane filter containing chrysotile asbestos fibers. A 10X, NA 0.25 objective and darkfield illumination is being used to see the small chrysotile fibers. This contains the same chrysotile 1 field in the adjacent photograph that was taken with a 40X, NA 0.65 phase contrast objective.
