Acetate Fiber

Acetate Fiber is a fiber formed by a cellulose polymer where 92% or more of the hydroxyl groups have been acetylated. Two basic chemical forms have been used to make fiber, the secondary acetates that contain hydroxyl groups and primary or triacetate that contains no hydroxyl groups.
