Photographic gallery. Thousands of particles under the microscope.

About Russ Crutcher's MicrolabGallery.com

What is it? Why is it significant? What does it mean? Russ Crutcher, the owner of Microlab Northwest, has been answering these questions using the light microscope for over 35 years. This is a pictorial guide to understanding how the microscope is used to solve problems as well as a gallery of thousands of photographs just to be enjoyed. These images are provided free of charge for everyone to enjoy, learn from, and share with others.

An amazing world becomes visible when you peer through the eye of the microscope. The microscope uncovers the shimmering spires of gypsum crystals, a kaleidoscope of colors from polarized light on tannic acids, and the pitted cellular structure of dinosaur bone.

So please enjoy these photomicrographs, micrographs, or pictures. Share them with your friends! Enjoy your exploration of the world under the microscope.

Thank you!
