This file contains the charred plant material from these fires. The burnt clay and fire retardant is the same for this wild fire as it is for all other wildfires. Colorado Montane chaparral includes geni of Quercus (Gambel oak), Acer (Bigtooth Maple), Artemisia (Black Sage), Cercocarpus (mountain mahogany), Prunus (cherries), and members of the families Rhamnaceae (buckthorn), Ericaceae (heather), Fagaceae (beech), and Anacrdiaceae (sumac).
