Pet Introduced Fire Debris
This is from the La Tuna fire in Los Angeles,
California in 2017. This agglomerated particle includes ash,
burnt clay, and char with two particles of dog dander. In this home there was a
significant amount of dog dander but these types of large
particle agglomerations strongly suggest the transport of fire debris from outside
to the inside on the fur of the pet dog.
