Wheat Field Burning Particle
This is cluster of pyrolzed silica phytoliths
from an environmental tapelift collected in a home exposed to a wheat field
fire. It includes a plant hair with a bulbous base (center). The base is silica
though it is covered with carbon at this point. The elongated elements
are carbon coated sheet elements with smooth sides. There are numerous rounded
                  phytoliths coated with carbon.
