Fire Debris in San Francisco Fill

This is burnt soil and char in the airborne dust at the time a black zone of soil being excavated at Howard and Folsom in the earthquake fill area of San Francisco. This is from an environmental tapelift collected at 199 Folsom during the summer of 2012. The buried ships Callao and Panama are reportedly in the area of this excavation.
