California Chaparral
This is some of the chaparral near Westlake
Village, California. The dominant plants here are Adenostoma
fasciculatum (Chamise), Adenostoma sparsifolium (Redshanks), and Larrea tridentata
(creosote bush). Live oaks (Quercus turbinella and others) are
common in the valleys.
