Charred Conifir Cone and Burnt Clay

This is from a home impacted by a near approach of a large forest fire. The black particle on the right is a typical structure for a charred conifer cone. The transpartent flakes are skin flakes. The red particles on the left of center are burnt clay. They appeared black with transmitted light alone.
