Seaport Particles

This is from an environmental tapelift collected in an office building next to a container ship dock in San Francisco Bay. Large ships burning Bunker C oil generate large cenospheres such as the fractured one on the left of this image. Truck, large jitney, and crane tires create large tire wear particles like the particle on the right.
