Magnetite Crystal
This crystal shows the octahedral parting plane that can be
seen on some magnetite crystals. The octahedral plane
is normal to the vertex of a cube so it intersects three sides of the cube equally,
as seen here.

Definition/Function:
Magnetite is Fe3O4 and is cubic in crystal habit all though
octahedral {111} parting may be evident.
