Malt Vinegar Mother

This is a sample of a genaric malt vinegar mother". The large oval cells (2 here) are yeast. There are two types of bacteria, most about 0.5 micrometer in smallest dimension and about 0.8 to a micrometer in longest dimension. Some are spherical. Some are rods and some of the rods forming two-cell chains.
