Petunia (Petunia hybrida) Pollen

This is pollen collected from a Blue Violet flower in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains of Eastern Washington State. It has been dewaxed with alcohol but not acetalized. The mounting medium is Shurmount with a refractive index of 1.49. This is at equitorial focus.
