Airborne Amosite Asbestos, Field 2

This is a cleared membrane filter containing amosite asbestos fibers. A 40X, NA 0.65 phase contrast objective is being used to make the small asbestos fibers visible. This is the same amosite 2 field that is contained in the adjacent photograph that was taken with a 10X, NA 0.25 objective and darkfield illumination.
