Picea glauca, White Spruce Fiber
This is an image from a stained standard section of Picea
glauca made by John P. Limbach of Ripon, Wisconsin. The very narrow,
inclined "Piceoid" pitting is evident in the center cross-field area. The fiber at
top shows a common termination.
