Pinus ponderosa Fiber

This is an image of a stained Pinus ponderosa fiber from made by John P. Limbach of Ripon, Wisconsin. The "Window" Cross-field pitting is evident near the terminations of the center three fibers on the left. They common uniseriate pore pattern is shown on the vertical fiber to the right.
