California Chaparral Fire

This may be a COPYWRITED image by David McNew. Its perpose here is to demonstrate that the bark and leaves of the shrubs are typically what burns in a wildfire. This is California chaparral but the same is true of any other wildfire where woody plants are part of the fuel.
