Pyrargyrite and Rammelsbergite

This is a polished sample of Pyrargyrite and Rammelsbergite viewed with a single linear polarizing filter. Pyrargyrite is the reddish and darker material. Rammelsbergite shows various shade of green and blue-green primarily, depending on the orientation of the individual grain.
