Salal (Gaultheria shallon) Pollen

This is pollen collected from Salal flowers in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains of Western Washington State. It has been dewaxed with alcohol but not acetalized. The mounting medium has a refractive index of 1.49. This is at intermediate focus.
