Sand, San Carlos, Mexico

This is a collection if the mineral grains with a density greater than 2.85 grams/cubic centimeter. Most of the magnetite has also been magnetically removed. Magnetite dominates the heavy minerals on this beach. Most of the black minerals in this image are magnetite. The colorless minerals are zircons. The green is hornblend.
