Taxus brevifolia, Radial-Section
This is an image from a stained standard section of Taxus
brevifolia made by John P. Limbach of Ripon, Wisconsin. This
shows the helical thickening in Yew tracheids. The spacing tends to be much more
irregular than in Douglas fir tracheids.
