Wear Polymers, Lube Wear

Lube wear particles (wear polymers) are particle agglomerates created by the breakdown of lubrication films on wear surfaces. They are generated by roller bearings, gear wear, V-belt wheel wear, tracks of overhead cranes, etc., in industrial environments. They can also be from wear along drawer runners for file cabinets, desks, tables, etc. They are also created by . They consist of fine metal wear particles bound together by hydrocarbon residues.
